Volunteers Meet to Launch 2015 Campaign Cabinet

Over 40 volunteers met on April 23rd to launch the 2015 Campaign Cabinet. Members received training and learned about United Way during the session which will meet throughout the summer and help promote United Way to area businesses.

The Campaign Cabinet is the leadership of the annual United Way campaign and is responsible for its overall success. Each member is responsible for participating in meetings, encouraging new campaigns and maintaining communication throughout the campaign. Members will work closely with the volunteer Campaign Chairs and United Way staff to ensure that the 2015 United Way Campaign is successful. Members of the cabinet have a goal to meet with 3-4 businesses across the community and meet with the CEO to talk about the upcoming campaign. Each meeting is also attended by one of the members of the Resource Development team here at United Way. Businesses are broken down into categories by size and type. The work that the cabinet during May and June sets the tone and helps determine the United Way campaign in the fall.

Campaign Cabinet members are selected through a referral process. If you are interested in becoming a cabinet member in 2016, please contact Travis Christopher, Resource Development Director at tchristopher@unitedwaycassclay.org or call 701-237-5050 for more information.
