Microsoft Partners with United Way to Share Thanks and Kindness

As part of National Volunteer week, Microsoft partnered with United Way to show their appreciation for the community we all live in. Volunteers went to local childcare centers to spread the love of reading and drop off books and bookmarks to encourage young readers. Groups got together to write letters of encouragement that will go in the backpacks of children that receive backpacks full of school supplies at the United Way School Supply Drive this summer, letting them know that they are awesome and wishing them luck for the upcoming school year. Teachers were also included with thank you cards and appreciation that their job is shaping the lives of our future generations.

We greatly appreciate the volunteers at Microsoft! They participate in many ways at United Way including volunteering at Gobble It Up, Day of Caring and the School Supply Drive just to name a few. As one of our LIVE UNITED Partners, they attend all of our major events and are the #13 Most Generous Workplace in the community. Thank you Microsoft for LIVING UNITED!
