Emerging Leaders Get Involved HERO Image

Emerging Leaders

We are a network of community-minded professionals who are working to advance the mission of United Way of Cass-Clay and their BOLD Community Goals through our three pillars: Connect, Build Skills, and Volunteer. As Emerging Leaders, we combine our time, talents and energy with over 740 of our peers to have maximum impact in our community—creating real and lasting change.

Throughout the year we get together to engage with the work of United Way; allowing us to grow and connect as leaders. Whether it is a Lunch & Learn or rolling up our sleeves to volunteer, there is something for everyone in Emerging Leaders.

Emerging Leaders is a chance to join forces with like-minded professionals and to expand your network in Cass and Clay counties. Through Emerging Leaders events you have the opportunity to connect with peers who have the same interest as you; making our community the best it can be!

When you attend an Emerging Leaders event make sure to bring your business cards, because we hope you leave with a new connection!

Personal growth and leadership development is a lifelong journey, which is why we feel passionate about offering Emerging Leaders opportunities to build skills.

Our Emerging Leaders committee works hard to ensure we bring you programming that will inspire and give you the tools you need to continue on your path of personal and professional growth.

Another core component of our program is volunteering. We want to connect you to the work of United Way and provide you an opportunity to give back to your community. Throughout the year you will not only get invitations to volunteer shifts at United Way events like the School Supply Drive and Day of Caring, but we also plan special volunteer events just for Emerging Leaders.

Your volunteer efforts are multiplied with hundreds of other community leaders to have a lasting ripple effect in Cass and Clay counties!
