2015 School Supply Drive Equips 5,260 Students for the School Year

Thanks to individuals and organizations in our community, the 17th Annual United Way of Cass-Clay School Supply Drive hosted its largest ever drive, successfully packing over 140,000 supplies into 5,260 backpacks for K-12 in Cass and Clay counties. These children are now equipped and ready for the school year thanks to your investments in United Way and the community. When you see the smile on a child's face after they pick out their backpack with their favorite character or in their favorite color, you feel as excited as they are. We are setting them off on the right foot so they don't feel the burden of not having supplies like their other classmates, and this is all thanks to your hard work and passion for this community.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone that participated in this event. Over 500 volunteers invested time at the FARGODOME to open, count, sort, and pack supplies over a 2 week time frame. Their enthusiasm for wanting to help the community is inspiring to see.
